SECOND
EDITION
Investigation
A woman driving with
her husband to an art gallery allowed a blue Plymouth to turn in front of her. For
an instant, she and the Plymouth’s driver, Ray Ferritto, stared directly at
each other. She also noticed a man in the car’s back seat staring at the parking
lot where Danny Greene was just climbing into his car. The next instant, pieces
of Greene’s car were flying at the couple, who followed the Plymouth onto the
freeway, making note of driver, car, and license plate. The female eyewitness
was a commercial artist and was able to sketch a picture of both suspects. In
addition, both witnesses later identified Ferritto and Carabbia from photos.
