Search Warrant Suggestions

The victim possessions (wallets, watches, jewelry) should be included in any search. Signs of the career criminal such as stereos and other expensive possessions that do not appear appropriate in the light of the offender’s finances based on the legitimate sources are also important. Additional search war- rant suggestions include possessions common to a burglar, such as burglary tools, police scanners, or a ski mask or stocking mask, and drugs or evidence of drug use.
