Crime Classification Manual Part II Chapter 6 D 46

A STANDARD SYSTEM FOR INVESTIGATING AND CLASSIFYING VIOLENT CRIMES

SECOND EDITION

Wesbecker had killed seven people and wounded twelve others. He obviously intended to kill all who crossed his path and was intent on revenge, seeking out those in authority in the company where he worked. The offender came to the scene with multiple weapons and an abundance of ammunition. His shots were intended to be lethal, as demonstrated by the death toll and the fact that of the twelve surviving victims, five were critically wounded. Wesbecker was very mission oriented, with no escape plan.
