Forensic Findings
The autopsy
revealed that the victim had died from a single gunshot wound to the chest that
penetrated the heart through the left ventricle, causing immediate death. A
.38-caliber bullet was recovered from the body. The victim’s serum alcohol
level was .21 percent, well over the .10 percent level of intoxication.
