Crime Classification Manual Part II Chapter 6 E 29
A STANDARD
SYSTEM FOR INVESTIGATING AND CLASSIFYING VIOLENT CRIMES SECOND EDITION
Dante Brown, age
thirteen, and Darrell Lane, age fourteen, of Cincinnati, were not as lucky. On
June 6, 1980, the two boys decided to walk to a local convenience market. When
they were about fifty feet from a railroad over- pass, four shots were fired from
the overpass. Each boy was struck twice. Darrell died instantly; Dante lived a
few hours longer.
