Several neighbors of the victim (and suspect) called police to report that a person who closely resembled the sketch lived in their neighborhood. Further investigation revealed this subject exactly matched the proļ¬le. The police again consulted the ISU for interrogation techniques to be used with this subject. As a result, seventeen-year-old Joseph Rogers confessed and then reenacted the crime for investigators.
