At the time,
it was determined that at least eleven of the homicides were the work of one
man. All of the women were killed in their apartment, had been sexually
assaulted, and were strangled with an article of their own clothing. In each
instance, there were no signs of forced entry, meaning the perpetrator was
either known to them or let in voluntarily.
