Indicators Frequently Noted. Multiple crime scenes are rare. The initial
encounter, assault, homicide, and subsequent postmortem activity usually occur
at one location. Weapons are rarely brought to the scene. If the offender uses
a weapon, he usually obtains it from the scene.
