Investigation
The attack
that ultimately led to Metesky’s arrest occurred on December 2, 1956, in the
Paramount Movie Theatre in Brooklyn. At 7:55 that evening, a bomb ripped
through the theater, seriously injuring three people. Metesky had slashed open
the underside of a seat and inserted the bomb there before slipping out of the
theater unnoticed.
