Victimology.
Threats may be targeted to terrorize a particular person, a building, a
business, or an institution. The motivation for a threat might also include a
desire on the part of the subject to force an action, as when inmates threaten
a specific violent act if their demands for better conditions within a
correctional facility are not met.
